Description:

We are looking for Part Time Heavy Equipment Operation Instructors to develop and deliver quality lesson plans, lead hands-on skills training, and evaluate student performance in lab and/or classroom settings. Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following requirements:

- Possess an associate degree in a relevant discipline OR have at least five (5) years of industry experience.

- Demonstrate extensive knowledge of heavy equipment operation and maintenance.

- Preferred knowledge of pipeline installation, industrial electricity, electrical motor systems, mechanical systems, fluid power, process controls, PLCs, and related areas.

- Possess National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) Instructor certification (preferred).

- Hold an Ohio Department of Education Adult Education teaching permit or be willing to obtain one.

- Have a student-oriented teaching style, fostering an engaging and supportive learning environment.

- Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with students, teachers, and administrators as an effective team member.

- Be proficient in email and Microsoft Office programs.

- Display strong problem-solving, critical thinking, analytical, oral and written communication, presentation, and organizational skills.

- Have a solid work record and an acceptable criminal record.

Based on the class schedule.

Pay:

We offer a competitive hourly wage ranging from $32.00 to $40.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
