Growing restaurant group in San Antonio is immediately hiring a Restaurant General Manager, who has at least two years of General Management Restaurant experience. Please do not apply unless you have two years working as a Restaurant General Manager in a fast-paced, high service level restaurant and are knowledgeable about wine and proper wine service.
(Applicants must live in/near San Antonio. We do not offer a relocation package.)

 Responsibilities include:

• Customer relations-you must be comfortable going table to table talking with guests
• Management and staff development: including training new Managers and assisting Managers with staff hiring, training, performance management, proper documentation, coaching, and scheduling
• Assisting Managers with floor supervision & expediting
• Ensure proper cash handling and financial reconciliation
• Keeping labor cost in line with budget
• Maintenance of all operational standards
• Assisting Managers and staff as needed with expediting, food running, bussing, etc.
• Working closely with the Chefs/Sous Chefs to oversee both front and back of the house

 Requirements:

• 2 years of General Management in a high-service level restaurant
• Four-year college degree (or two-year culinary school degree)
• Progressive food and fine wine knowledge
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications and industry related POS programs-Hot Schedules, etc.
• Excellent communication skills: which include oral, written and active listening
• Work a 5 day work week with a varied schedule including nights and weekends
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time; lift up to 50 pounds without assistance
