PTG Logistics is an asset-based carrier and we’ve been in business for more than 25 years with offices and operations across the United States. We service a wide range of industries—from steel and building supplies to bread and ice cream—with great drivers and great equipment. Our company is growing rapidly, and we are seeking an experienced Local Delivery Driver (Non-CDL or CDL Class B ) in our Branchburg, NJ location. The Driver will serve to support our transportation and logistics department in a safe and timely manner, and willing to train the right candidate.
Responsibilities: (include, but are not limited to)

· Transport finished goods and or raw materials over land to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centers
· Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
· Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts
· Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
· Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
· Collect and verify delivery instructions
· Report defects, accidents or violations immediately

Requirements:

• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid Non-CDL or CDL Class B License.
• Minimum of 12 months verifiable driving experience.
• Meet PTG's MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• Lift and move product and pallets which may weigh up to 75 pounds.
• Satisfactory Employment Verifications for the past 3 years.
• No more than 2 Moving Violations and 1 at fault accident in the past 3 years.
• No DUIs in the past 5 years.
• Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, ELD, etc.).
• Perform proper pre/post trips each day.
• Meet scheduled delivery times.
• Secure freight before, during, & after each delivery.
• Maintain vehicle operation and cleanliness.

The position offers:
Starting pay $21.25(NON-CDL) or 22.75 (Class B) Overtime after 40. Deliver doors within 150 air mile radius of warehouse. Start time typically between 4-6am
