PTG Logistics is an asset-based carrier and we’ve been in business for more than 25 years with offices and operations across the United States. We service a wide range of industries—from steel and building supplies to bread and ice cream—with great drivers and great equipment. Our company is growing rapidly, and we are seeking an experienced Class B CDL Driver (Part-time) in our Worcester, MA location. The Driver will serve to support our transportation and logistics department in a safe and timely manner.

Responsibilities: (include, but are not limited to)

· Transport finished goods and or raw materials over land to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centers · Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance · Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts · Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures · Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions · Collect and verify delivery instructions · Report defects, accidents or violations immediately

Requirements:

• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid Class B commercial driver's license (CDL - B).
• At least 1 year of driving Box Truck and delivery experience.
• Meet PTG's MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• Lift and move products and pallets which may weigh up to 75 pounds.
• No more than 2 Moving Violations in the past 3 years.
• No DUIs in the past 5 years.
• Must be able to get a minimum of 1-year Medical Certificate.
• Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, XRS, etc.).

The position offers:

• $24 per hour.
• First Shift – Monday to Saturday as needed.
