PTG Logistics is an asset-based carrier and we’ve been in business for more than 25 years with offices and operations across the United States. We service a wide range of industries—from steel and building supplies to bread and ice cream—with great drivers and great equipment. Our company is growing rapidly, and we are seeking an experienced Class A CDL Driver Dedicated in our Mechanicsburg, PA location. The Driver will serve to support our transportation and logistics department in a safe and timely manner.Currently searching for to fill our VA route driver. You will stay in a hotel Monday night & Thursday night. Home Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday nights. We pay $50.00 for layover in a hotel, hotel is paid for by company. 

Responsibilities: (include, but are not limited to)

· Transport finished goods and or raw materials over land to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centers· Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance· Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts· Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures· Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions· Collect and verify delivery instructions· Report defects, accidents or violations immediately

Requirements:

• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL - A).
• At least 1 year of driving CDL experience.
• Meet PTG's MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• Lift and move products and pallets which may weigh up to 75 pounds.
• No more than 2 Moving Violations in the past 3 years.
• No DUIs in the past 5 years.
• Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, XRS, etc.).

The position offers: 

• LOCAL Dedicated HOURLY PAY: $27.25 Per Hour Starting pay Overtime after 40 hours.
