PTG Logistics is an asset-based carrier and we’ve been in business for more than 25 years with offices and operations across the United States. We service a wide range of industries—from steel and building supplies to bread and ice cream—with great drivers and great equipment. Our company is growing rapidly, and we are seeking an experienced Class A CDL Driver in our Janesville, WI location. The Driver will serve to support our transportation and logistics department in a safe and timely manner.

Responsibilities: (include, but are not limited to)

· Transport finished goods and or raw materials over land to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centers · Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance · Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts · Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures · Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions · Collect and verify delivery instructions · Report defects, accidents or violations immediately
Qualifications: · Class A CDL with Good MVR· One to Two nights a week Layover required· Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and Criminal Background check· Must possess a passion towards SAFETY and CUSTOMER SERVICE
