Burrow Global has two contract I&E Design Engineer opportunities available with an Oil and Gas company located in downtown Houston.

Both positions will last at least 6 months or longer. These positions will be focused on brownfield capital projects that are associated with Midstream plants, storage terminals, Loading terminals & petroleum check facilities.

Daily duties include:

1. Updating P&ID redlines for Control scope.
2. Markup and creating Instrument Location Plans
3. Creating and updating Electrical Area classification drawings
4. Creating and update facility Key plans
5. Generating Instrument datasheets
6. Updating instrument installation details
7. Creating cable conduit schedules
8. Designing cable tray and conduit system and routing
9. Developing construction scope documents
10. Developing construction plans
11. Supporting Loop checks and startup activities
12. Maintaining As Built documents and project sign-off.
13. Creating and maintaining instrument Index.
14. Verify Loop drawings.

Candidates should have an bachelor’s degree in engineering and have at least 5 years of electrical and instrumentation design experience.

Experience with Autocad and CadWorx is needed.

Experience with ICS Triplex, Honeywell, Triconex, and Allen Bradley PLC is preferred.
