CHILD CARE ASSISTANT

Summary:

As a Child Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children aged 0-12. You'll work closely with our team to create age-appropriate lesson plans, facilitate activities, and foster positive relationships with children and their families. Our ideal candidate is someone who is enthusiastic, patient, and committed to providing high-quality care and education.

Key Responsibilities:

* Create a warm and welcoming environment for children and families

* Implement lesson plans and activities that promote cognitive, emotional, social, and physical development

* Maintain a safe and hygienic environment, ensuring all safety protocols are followed

* Engage with children and families, building strong relationships and providing ongoing support

* Communicate effectively with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders

* Keep accurate records of children's progress, attendance, and daily activities

* Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge

Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent

* One to three months of related experience and/or training

* Ability to pass a background check (including criminal history, abuse/neglect, and driving record)

* Completion of New Hire Orientation and annual training requirements

* Current certification in CPR (adult, child, and infant), First Aid, and Blood Borne Pathogens
