We are looking to hire the HR Director, Global Functions.

In this role, you will play a critical role in supporting ELT members for Finance, Legal & Compliance and Corporate Development as HR business partner in all aspects of people management.

We are looking for an experienced HR Professional who enjoys the broad scope of supporting Global Functions in talent and change management. Reporting to the CHRO, this person must be confident in working in a matrix global organization while equally happy working independently at our Houston, Texas site daily, with a hands-on approach, interfacing effectively with employees at all levels. We are looking for an excellent HR business partner, terrific communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to foster a positive culture.

The mission of this position is:

• Accountable for the talent agenda of the global functions especially focused on attracting future talent for the enterprise, developing and retaining talent and solving for succession gaps in order to operationalize the business strategy.

• Responsible for aligning HR practices with functional goals, ensuring that our workforce is equipped and empowered to contribute effectively to our success and strategy execution.

• Partner with local and global HR team, to develop and implement HR initiatives that foster a positive workplace culture, drive employee engagement, and support the professional and leadership development of our employees.

• Lead and encourage a diverse and inclusive workplace culture and practices, in both people and thought leadership.

• Influence, establish and maintain effective relationships and gain reputation as trusted advisor and business partner.

• Drive and manage culture development and change management initiatives that support the functions in its innovation and growth objectives.

• Coach and counsel functional ELT members to address employee relations issues and provide leadership development.

• Uphold a strong work ethic with a high drive, high expectations positive attitude, along with crisp execution in the position to make a daily impact to the business.

Qualifications and requirements:

• Bachelor's degree as a minimum.

• Minimum of 10 years' experience as an HR Generalist and at least 2-3 years as Senior Manager or HR Director of a business or function.

• Ability to work in a matrix organization liaising with HR organization and leaders to ensure desired goals are met.

• Data driven mindset: leverage data and analytics to inform decision-making and drive initiatives that contribute to the success of the business.

• Knowledge of US labor laws and notion of international labor law affecting employment and local legal limitations.

• Strong HR business partner consulting skills and problem-solving skills; excellent decision making/analysis skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Ability to build sustainable relationships with cross-functional leaders and teams.

• A true hands-on approach as well as the ability to successfully monitor the ''pulse'' of the employee to ensure a high level of employee engagement.

• Comfortable with rapid and complex changing environment.

• Strong internal and external customer centric mindset.

• Knowledge or experience with Workday will be a plus.

Pay : A reasonable estimate of the annual base salary for this position is $175,000 - $225,000 discretionary annual bonus. Pay ranges may vary by location.
