**LOCATION** 2961 Route 322 Swedesboro NJ US 08085 **Overview** If you are looking an exciting job with one of the largest off-price retail stores in the nation, join the Burlington Stores, Inc. team as a **Human Resources Coordinator** ! As an **HR Coordinator** , you’ll be responsible for providing comprehensive HR support to our Distribution Center team at our brand new location in Swedesboro, NJ. HR coordinators should display strong problem solving and decision-making skills with a deep understanding of employee relationships, staffing management, payroll support and Federal and State law compliance. **Responsibilities to include:** Process various time-sensitive data entry, uploads, exports and transactional requests from HR, the business and associates related to status changes in the HRIS and all applicable systems. Prepare new hire orientation material and maintain data entry for new hires as well as conduct new hire orientation and onboarding. Manage, track and ensure compliance on all associate information and documentation as dictated by governing policies, including new hire required documentation, associate performance reviews, progressive discipline and terminations. Supports the Distribution Centers with the planning, communicating and tracking of company-wide initiatives, events and objectives throughout the year as well as the daily associate inquiries. Advise and assist Managers and Supervisors on interpretation and administration of HR policies and procedures. Act as a liaison between Distribution Center associates and Corporate Benefits department to support and resolve benefits inquiries. Coordinate FMLA, LOA, Workers Comp claims and submit paperwork to corporate/vendor Handling and support additional projects as needed. **Our ideal candidate will have:** Associates degree or equivalent work experience Background & understanding of basic Human Resources principles HR Experience in a Distribution Center environment a plus Ability to work independently as well as with a team. Ability to be cross-trained and serve as back up resource to other coordinators in department. Proactive work ethic; does not need to be micro-managed.
