The Manager Outbound Logistics will oversee our final mile processing and delivery operations. This role will be responsible for driving and analyzing processing plans and backlogs to ensure timely flow of merchandise. This person will work closely with other members of the outbound team to monitor the impact transit times will have on the overall flow by market. This leader will work closely with our pool point leaders to drive operational results.In close partnership with Store Operations this leader will lead our Operations Analysts ensuring on time delivery, while supporting ad hoc schedule changes as requested by our store partners. As the liaison between our stores and our providers, this leader will demonstrate integrity and collaboration ensuring strong customer service to both parties.
Responsibilities:
Supports Operations Analyst during new store openings and is responsible for the execution of delivery schedules during store inventories.
Supports our Manager of Strategy and Growth in operationalizing the long term growth strategy. This may include opening and on boarding new providers, piloting operational models, and driving cost reduction strategies.
Identifies and drives the implementation and execution of strategies to improve metrics and minimize shortage risk.
Leverages reporting to make informed decisions on production strategy
Review and manage delivery schedules
Develop new and analyze current reporting to identify areas of opportunity and drive KPI improvements
Implement and oversee operational changes
Collaborate with peers and direct reports on growth and improvement strategy
Support Senior Manager and Director with special projects
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a Supply Chain/Business-related field.
Requires 3-5 years’ experience in Logistics/Transportation or related field
Experience establishing key performance indicator metrics to benchmark/track performance
Working knowledge of PCS/Descartes
Ability to work independently with limited supervision
Detail oriented with a strong desire to identify trends
Requires familiarity with transportation procedures and processes
Require high level of proficiency utilizing Microsoft Excel to analyze data and produce reporting for all levels of the business
Self-confidence managing business issues in conflict and facilitating key stakeholders to achieve best resolution for overall business

Demonstrated ability to focus, prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects under deadline
Strong communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills
