Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. The Assistant Manager will support the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a passion for delivering an outstanding retail experience.

Duties:

- Assist the Store Manager in managing all aspects of store operations

- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer complaints or issues

- Train and develop staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively

- Oversee cash register operations, including handling cash transactions, processing returns, and ensuring accuracy

- Maintain inventory control by monitoring stock levels, conducting regular audits, and placing orders as needed

- Implement marketing strategies to drive sales and increase store traffic

- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

- Handle payroll administration and scheduling of staff shifts

- Conduct performance evaluations for team members

- Collaborate with the Store Manager to create and implement training programs for staff development

Skills:

- Strong cash register skills and experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems

- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills

- Proven track record in retail sales and customer service

- Knowledge of inventory control principles and practices

- Ability to develop and implement training programs for staff development

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

- Strong organizational and time management skills

- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

- Previous experience in restaurant management is preferred
