JOB SUMMARY
The Scheduling and Planning Lead is responsible for preparation and maintenance of project schedules across the organization, including new construction and repair projects. This position will work closely with Engineering, Purchasing and Production to identify and track resourcing needs and help establish work planning. Reporting to the CFO, the Lead will also be responsible for tracking performance data against plan and help identify opportunities for recovery as necessary.

EDUCATION
A bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field is preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Sitting in a normal seated position for extended periods of time while operating a computer with occasional light lifting. Position also required regular visits to the Shipyard with climbing of stairs and inspection of items in fairly tight spaces.

Duties:
- Create and maintain production schedules based on inventory control and forecast data.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely delivery of materials and resources.
- Monitor inventory levels and adjust schedules as needed to meet production demands.
- Collaborate with production teams to optimize workflow and minimize downtime.
- Communicate schedule changes and updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Analyze production data and make recommendations for process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
