We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering and technical Manager with Hands-on programming experience to lead complex technical projects within our organization. The successful candidate will have a strong background in managing technology projects, with expertise in Project Management Professional (PMP) practices, Project Portfolio Management (PPM), and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM). This role requires a proactive manager who can coordinate multiple project initiatives, ensure alignment with business objectives, and drive project delivery through effective leadership and collaboration.
*Key Responsibilities:*
Plan, execute, and finalize technical projects according to strict deadlines and within budget, including acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants.
Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents, effectively communicating project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear manner.
Apply PMP methodologies and practices to manage projects through their lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closure.
Utilize PPM tools and techniques to prioritize a project portfolio based on business needs, resource availability, and risk assessment.
Manage PLM processes to oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of products from concept through design, manufacturing, service, and disposal.
Conduct project post-mortem assessments and create recommendations to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals, setting realistic timelines and budget forecasts.
Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel, identifying and resolving issues and conflicts within the project team.
Identify and manage project dependencies and critical paths, adjusting schedules and plans as needed.
Monitor and report on the progress of the project to all stakeholders, presenting reports defining project progress, problems, and solutions.
Implement project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs as necessary, managing change requests and scope adjustments.
Perform risk management to minimize project risks, establishing a risk mitigation plan and contingency plans.
Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.
*Qualifications:*
a bachelor s degree in computer science, business administration, or a related field.
Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) is required.
Proven experience in project management in the IT sector, with a focus on technical projects.
strong familiarity with project portfolio management (PPM) and product lifecycle management (PLM) practices.
excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and maintain a proactive approach in a fast-paced environment.
