Job Title: Design Consultant

As a design consultant at Bumble Bee Blinds, you will be responsible for selling window covering products and installation services to residential and commercial clients in your market. You will help build a cliental, drive sales revenue and back the company on standards, quality, and professionalism. A successful design consultant will hold oneself to high customer service standards while being detail-oriented, organized, creative, ambitious, and very personable. You will use your strong listening and communication skills, as well as intellectual capital and a sale driven mindset to present innovative solutions to prospective customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides reliable, high quality customer support.
  • Drive leads. Answer new and existing customers' phone calls while following sales processes.
  • Schedule and perform in-home consultations, customer instruction on various window covering options and functionality, to provide estimates.
  • Build and nurture strong networking relationships with new clients, existing clients, interior designers, realtors, and builders in the market.
  • Responsible for maintaining, updating, and communicating client data, project status, and job details in the CRM.
  • Utilizes customer information, materials, and support to ensure efficient execution of assigned tasks.
  • Completes and submits all required task-related activities, productivity, and other documentation in a timely manner.
  • Meet work standards by following production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards.
  • Monitor and review all work orders to ensure customer expectations are met in a timely manner.
  • Maintain constant communication between all departments, as well as customers, on current work orders.
  • Manage and maintain daily sales reporting.
  • Collect balances due once work is completed and customer satisfaction met.
  • Participate in regular sales meetings, webinars, and trainings.
  • Arrive on time to work and any/all appointments and meetings.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must have one or more years of experience in customer service industry or commercial sales.
  • Must have a working knowledge of CRM programs.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Very detail oriented, organized, and can keep efficient notes and records.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including and understanding of basic grammar and writing.
  • High energy, positive attitude, and forward thinking.
  • Strong team player and the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
  • Meet or exceed sales goals.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous Window Covering Sales/Service Experience Preferred, Not Required
  • Must be able to demonstrate willingness to be flexible and adapt to change.
  • Ability to follow policy and procedures.
  • Must be able to resolve problems, handle conflict and make effective decisions under pressure.
  • Strong working knowledge of common computer software including but not limited to: MS Outlook, word, excel, CRM.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
