Overview:
We are currently seeking qualified individuals to join our team as Armed Security Agent. Our agents work mostly in a covert manner and require a valid Concealed Handgun License. As an Armed Security Agent, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients and their assets. This is a responsible position that requires strong law enforcement skills and the ability to handle potentially dangerous situations.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to deter and detect any suspicious activity
- Monitor CCTV cameras and other surveillance equipment to maintain a safe and secure environment
- Respond promptly to alarms or calls for assistance
- Enforce access control procedures and verify the identity of individuals entering the premises
- Conduct thorough searches of individuals, vehicles, and bags as required
- Maintain accurate incident reports and documentation
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting clients and visitors with any inquiries or concerns
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary
Requirements:
- Must have a valid armed security officer license/certificate
- Must have a valid concealed handgun license in Oregon and preferably Washington as well.
- Previous experience (3 years) in law enforcement, military, or security is required.
- Knowledge of CCTV systems and surveillance techniques
- Strong conflict management and de-escalation skills
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Must be physically fit and able to stand for long periods of time
