Accounting Assistant
Springfield office seeking Accounting Assistant. Law firm experience a plus.
Candidates should have either a background in finance or accounting or education in finance. An understanding of bookkeeping is helpful.
The position will be responsible for effectively working within an excellent and welcoming accounting team to execute and provide for: processing billing for the firm, opening new matters, running conflict checks, accounts receivable and accounts payable, and reporting. This position reports to the Controller.
Qualified candidates will be motivated, possess strong communication skills and client service skills. Must have a strong work ethic, team orientation and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a day, and to meet deadlines effectively.

Requirements include:
Proficiency with MS Office
Experience with Omega and iManage a plus, but will train.
