KEY RESPONSIBILITIESOperates CNC machines to produce production parts and assembliesOperates manual machines such as saws, mills, and lathesPositions parts in specified locations using a variety of fastening devicesOperates hand-held tools, electrical tools, and / or pneumatic toolsOperates lift equipment as neededUses precision measuring tools as requiredAbility to recognize various material types used in department and adjust equipment if neededAbility to recognize worn tooling and change in machine as requiredVerifies accuracy of completed product or batch inspectsReports defective materials, discrepancies, process malfunctions or completed products that are not in compliance with company and / or customer specifications to the Department LeadMaintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulationsCompletes all necessary paperwork as required, including in process or carbon copy production sheetsRequirementsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS2 years' experienceProduce a high-quality product according to required specifications on a consistent basisProduce the required quantity of product according to required output specificationsUnderstand the machine operation process and the movement of completed componentsUse computers as requiredUse measuring tools as requiredRead and understand BlueprintsComplete necessary paperwork accurately and timelyOperate all hand tools, machines and equipment successfully as required and with minimal supervisionWork as a productive team member who contributes to the organizations' success.
