Job Summary

Opportunity to work with a growing, 115-year-old family business that supplies building material to the leading builders in the Charlotte market. Builders Supply Company is hiring a Window/Door Field Support Person.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Manage BSC installation schedules & builders schedule in assigned communities.
• Pre-walk every window and doors job prior to installation to verify that the shipping tickets and plans match the rough openings in the home.
• Able to effectively communicate any issues, discrepancies, or concerns to builders and BSC office staff in a timely and professional manner.
• Perform Installation quality inspections for every job that is installed.
• Maintain and submit daily reports as required.
• Daily follow-up on open issues on assigned jobsites.
• Requires daily driving to job sites around the Charlotte Metro. Approximately 100-200 miles per day.

Qualifications and Skills

• Standard Class D driver’s license required with a clean driving record.
• Must have 3 years minimum background in residential construction.
• Preferred experience in wood framing, windows, and exterior door
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints daily.
• Must be Proficient with measuring and evaluating plumb, level, and square.
• Must be Proficient in Outlook, and Apple products.
• Excellent Communication and time management skills.
• Able to multitask and manage fast paced jobsites as well as process large quantities.
• Must be able to carry out daily tasks and see them through to completion without constant supervision.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Problem Solver attitude.
• Excellent customer service and be able to conduct business in a professional manner.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test and background check.
• Bilingual a plus.

Vacation is one week after 90 days, two weeks after three years, three weeks after five years and four weeks after fifteen years.
