Job Summary

Builders Supply is hiring an assistant sawyer to cut wood I beams and handle material with a forklift. Beams are cut by feeding them into an automated saw. Steady work with hours typically ranging from 6:30 AM until around 4:00 PM. Great work environment with a family-owned company in business for 116 years. Potential of a raise after 90 days based on performance.

Responsibilities and Duties

Job consists of handling wood I beams used in the construction of the floors of homes. Beams are up to 48' long and are moved to and from a saw shed. There they are trimmed to the correct length before being bundled for shipment to job sites.

Qualifications and Skills

Experience working in construction and with machinery is a plus. At least one to two years of operating forklifts is beneficial.
