The IT Infrastructure Senior Cloud Engineer is responsible for designing, administering, maintaining, and supporting Microsoft Azure and AWS cloud-based systems utilizing Terraform Infrastructure as Code (IaC) in a scalable, highly available, and resilient enterprise-grade hybrid-cloud environment that includes resources in private datacenters, across multiple cloud platforms, and hosted by a managed service provider. This individual will be expected to act as the technology expert and collaborate with ERP, development, application support, and other Information Technology groups to provide high-quality solutions and customer service that involves planning, implementation, maintenance, enhancements, migration, support, and integration for new and existing systems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Builds code in multiple languages to improve service reliability and ensure standardization, reliability, scalability, continuity, and consistency for resource deployments and maintenance.
• Develops a road map toward continual expansion, improvement, and efficiency gains for existing systems and new implementations based on business requirements.
• Utilizes configuration management software to deploy updates into the cloud environment.
• Designs cloud application infrastructure, integrating business requirements and following best practices whenever possible.
• Ensures appropriate testing is conducted prior to deployment of cloud-based applications.
• Improves the DevOps culture and creating deployment automation for the configuration, management, and scalability of cloud microservices and cloud infrastructure processes.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field from an accredited college/university.
• 4 years relevant work experience.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
