PURPOSE Partners with assigned field locations to provide full life-cycle staffing support, including sourcing quality candidates, conducting pre-employment interviews, field recruitment, evaluating candidates, and assisting in closing offer acceptance. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESConsults with hiring managers to understand their long and short term staffing needs and to understand the scope of the position(s) needed to be filled. Develops and executes a recruitment strategy for field in person talent sourcing for construction services. Under the direction of the HR Manager, coordinates with other Market Field Recruiters to create synergies and optimize talent sourcing initiatives in overlapping markets. Partners with Corporate Talent Acquisition team on Military, Trade Schools, Colleges, and other sources for large job fairs for the Pacific Region. Gathers candidate qualifications, such as job knowledge requirements and technical skills. Creates/updates job postings based on conversations with the hiring manager. Assists with coordination of recruitment marketing efforts as needed. Screens applications and resumes Conducts initial pre-screen interview, by phone or in person, and evaluates the candidate’s capabilities, personality and skill levels Forwards qualified candidates to hiring manager Coordinates and oversees the interview process including scheduling interviews and pre-employment tests, coordinating reference checks, background checks and drug screening procedures, negotiating employment offers, communicating the offer verbally, and preparing and administering offer letters Tracks and documents candidates and requisition activity using the Dayforce Applicant Tracking System (ATS) Updates both the hiring manager and the candidate throughout the recruiting process in a timely manner Promotes BFS at a variety of recruitment functions, such as job fairs and college/university fairsOther duties may be assigned SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This job has no supervisory responsibilities. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field; Four (4) years recruiting experience; Or equivalent combination of education and experience. COMPETENCIES Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with all levels within the company. Strong interpersonal and networking skills. Ability to work in cooperation with others to effectively coordinate activities to accomplish tasks. Ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and government regulations PC proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook; comfortable with using applicant tracking systems (ATS) Knowledge of legal and compliance issues WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL ACTIVITYThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
