The Document Technician ensures all project-related information is posted in the online plans room. The Document Technician manages pdf files to prepare them for uploading to the online plans room. Responsibilities include the tabulation of pdf files and the division of documents into specific categories. The Document Technician assists the Plans Manager and the reporter when necessary to ensure the expeditious handling of plans and specifications being posted to the online plans room. The position is also responsible for the weekly assembly of the Plans Bulletin. Applicant must be proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat. Knowledge of the construction industry is a definite plus but is not required. Reliable transportation is required.
Responsibilities include web searches for Addenda, Memo, Clarification, and any related documents to active projects in our database, the bookmarking of pdf files, the division of documents into specific categories, and uploading the documents to the corresponding project.
The position is also responsible for the assembly of the weekly Bulletin.
