YOUR NEW ROLE AS A MACHINIST

This is a full-time position with a steady schedule.

As a Machinist, your daily responsibilities will encompass the operation and upkeep of diverse CNC machining processes, encompassing milling and turning among others. Beginning with a meticulous review of blueprints and specifications, you will ascertain the requisite machining operations. Subsequently, you will proceed to the setup and fine-tuning of machinery to attain optimal performance levels, thereby guaranteeing the quality and precision of large, intricate components throughout production cycles. Effective collaboration with fellow team members is imperative as you collectively strive toward meeting production targets. Your duties will also extend to the routine maintenance of equipment and active participation in continuous improvement endeavors.

REQUIREMENTS FOR A MACHINIST

Required qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficiency in reading blueprints (both English and metric measurements) using geometric tolerancing symbology
• Highly developed computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Windows
• Strong foundation in mathematics
• Proficiency with all types of measuring tools and gages
• Ability to work well in a team environment

Preferred qualifications:

• College or trade school certification
• Proficiency in Gibbs Cam software
• Advanced CNC programming skills
• Familiarity with Fanuc and Siemens controls
