Duties:
As a Phone Operator, you will be responsible for handling incoming and outgoing phone calls in a professional and efficient manner. Your duties will include:
- Answering and transferring phone calls to the appropriate departments or individuals
- Providing information to callers and assisting with inquiries
- Operating multi-line phone systems, including transferring calls, setting up conference calls, and managing voicemail
- Maintaining a polite and professional phone manner at all times
Skills:
To excel in this role, the following skills are essential:
- Ability to efficiently route incoming calls to the correct destination
- Proficiency in performing basic clerical tasks such as data entry and filing
- Strong communication skills and courteous phone manners
- Capability to handle administrative tasks efficiently
-Proficient typing skills for accurate data entry during phone conversations
- Familiarity with operating multi-line phone systems for effective call management
- Fluency in multiple languages to assist callers from diverse backgrounds is a plus
- Previous experience in front desk operations and customer service strongly preferred
