HIGH SCHOOL COUNSELOR

To provide a comprehensive guidance and counseling program designed to
address the social, emotional, educational and occupational needs of all
students. At BuffSci we are committed to the growth and development of

JOB EXPECTATIONS

• Work closely with the Director of Guidance to administer the Guidance &

• Coordinate the "College and Career Readiness" class for the seniors (4

• Be knowledgeable in NYS Graduation requirements and postsecondary

• Have 3 individual meetings with the assigned caseload during the school year.
• Educate students and families about colleges, careers, and financial aid/

• Monitor individual student progress throughout the year and apply necessary

• Assist with the planning of the standardized tests (e.g. SAT, PSAT, AP,
