Budget Home Supply is Hiring a Warehouse Associate Near Longmont, CO

Posting Title: Building Materials Warehouse Associate In-House Title: “Forklift Operator”

The Building Materials “Forklift Operator” builds packs and moves product productively. Must be at least 18 years old.

DIRECT SUPERVISOR: Warehouse Supervisor

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Knowledge of the store layout, inventory, company policy, etc.

· Locates products for customers.

· Stocks bins and maintains store cleanliness and organization.

· Communicates low or out of stock materials to “purchasing” for replenishment.

· Perform and or assist in cycle counts and physical inventory.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

· Ability to organize a daily workload by priority.

· Attends safety meetings as needed.

· Observes store areas for safety, potential theft and security risks.

· Ensures that customer expectations are communicated to “operations/Management” as necessary.

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

· Daily inspection of forklift and equipment

· Reporting equipment issues, hazards, safety related items to yard supervisor

· Transport product to correct back stock location and from back stock to stock location

· Stock product while building packs

· Read pick tickets and build packs with correct product

· Stage completed orders in designated staging area

· Assist customers loading/unloading product on their vehicles

· Assist returns from BHS delivery trucks

· Report to shift supervisor before end of assigned shift, ensuring all assigned tasks are completed and no further assistance is required

SKILLS:

· Superior Customer Service Skills

· Excellent Communication and Organization Skills

· Strong decision-making skills

EDUCATION:

· High School Diploma/GED

ABILITIES REQUIRED:

· Stoop, Kneel, Crouch or Crawl Periodically

· Lift and Carry up to 50 lbs repeatedly

· Stand and or sit for prolonged periods

INDIVIDUAL’S RESPONSIBILITIES

· Wear the appropriate attire provided by BHS

· Dress accordingly for the current weather conditions

· Must wear steel toed footwear
