Budget Blinds of Crystal Lake, Barrington, Elgin, St. Charles, Buffalo Grove, Glenview and Highland Park seeks a qualified, window coverings sales consultant for a full-time position.

We are the largest Budget Blinds franchise in the Chicagoland area

Responsibilities and Duties

The candidate should be able to:

• Sell and explain different product lines of window coverings.
• Understand and explain window coverings benefits.
• Accurately measure and explain the mounting of products.

Efficiently communicate with customers and follow through with the sales process.
Ability to understand and use computer programs for quoting and e-mailing customers.

Qualifications and Skills

We are looking for a candidate who is:

• Interested in design and home decor.
• We do not expect you to know window coverings, we will train you
• A great communicator who can explain the benefits of window coverings.
• Detail-oriented and who can measure and explain the mounting of products.
• An independent worker and has the ability to self-schedule and stay on task.
• Proficient in operating a computer including specialized software, email, and Microsoft products.
• Someone who is very organized and detailed oriented.
• A good listener with the ability to ask customers in-depth questions.

We are a 100% commission position. We do however pay hourly during training and also have a draw commission structure during ramp up after training.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

COVID-19 considerations:
We do not require that clients or employees wear masks in or at a client's home. Nor do we require them while in the office. If a client does request that one of our staff members wear a mask while in their presence we will oblige the request
