This individual will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing large electronics such as various sizes of tv’s, stereos, and other consumer electronics. Must have pride in work and be able to display results of the highest quality that translates to an excellent customer experience. Limited training is available.

• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair various large electronics
• Provide recommendations for problem resolution
• Explain complex technical issues to others in a non-technical, simple to understand manner
• Provide repair and replacement estimates
• Ensure that all repairs meet or exceed quality standards
• Communicate with Buddy’s Home Furnishings store personnel in a professional, courteous and friendly manner
• Keep track of all devices and inventory while safeguarding all stock
• Utilize the point-of-sale system to maintain an accurate record of customer information and a real-time status of each repair
• Maintain the cleanliness and professional appearance of work area
• Great organization and time management skills that allow you to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently and promptly

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with handling high voltage electronics
• Experience soldering to perform board level repair
• Technical degree or certification in Electronics or Consumer Electronics
• Previous experience working at retail electronics store
