Kitchen Employee Non-exempt General Manager Part-time

Job purpose

The Kitchen Employee will assist in the planning, coordinating, and executing of an efficient shift while ensuring Buddy’s standards of quality and service are met.

Essential Functions

• Complete hourly training programs and assist in all BOH.
• Follow all receiving and ordering procedures.
• Abide by all sanitation and food handling practices to comply with Health and Safety regulations.
• Maintain the highest level of cleanliness and preventative maintenance.
• Displays team-building skills and always handles assignments with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.

Qualifications

• Some knowledge and experience in areas of restaurant operations, particularly the Kitchen.
• Knowledge of all recipes and product specifications.
• Must possess excellent customer service skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and work withing budgetary guideline.
• Ability to communicate effectively will all levels of staff with strong problem solving and decision-making skills

Working conditions/Physical Demands

• Must be able to articulate clearly and listen attentively to employees and guests
• Must be able to stand and walk for an entire shift
• Must be able to reach, lift and bend
• Ability to work with kitchen equipment
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds comfortably
