Bucks County Technical High School is Hiring an Allied Health Instructor Near Fairless Hills, PA

Bucks County Technical High School is seeking a permanent, full-time Allied Health Instructor to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year. Responsible for teaching the competency-based curriculum as validated by the Occupational Advisory Committee. The instructor will teach program that prepares students to apply knowledge and skills in the health related occupations. Clinical education is an integral part of the curriculum. Strong assessment and clinical skills are essential for the program.

The successful candidate will possess a PA Department of Educational Vocational Certificate in Health-Related Technology or RN license in PA with four [4] years documented experience in Acute and Long-term care and be willing to fulfill teaching certification requirements credits through Temple University over three (3) years.

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with the geriatric population in a long-term care setting
  • Teaching experience desired
  • Technology as an instruction tool
  • Leadership skills desired
  • Highly organized, Self-motivated
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Background clearances as per PA School Code

Experience:

PDE Certification [2214] or 4 years of related industry experience (8,000 hours of verifiable employment in the area in the last 10 years.)
