Part-time (20 hours per week/52 weeks per year)
The Testing Center administers hundreds of tests a week. As a member of the National College Testing Association, we are obligated to uphold the integrity of testing operations. This position is key to the department's success in this endeavor. This position is responsible for administering course testing, serving as a certified examiner for high-stakes testing, and administering tests for other colleges and organizations in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. In addition to administering tests, the individual must be able to deliver quality customer service to persons both within the College and without and to provide general clerical support to the department.
This position requires the flexibility of a changing work schedule to accommodate volume fluctuations and staffing shortages.
This position is eligible for pro-rated benefits.
Hourly Rate: $20.1867 - $21.60 (commensurate with experience)
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or general equivalent and specialized, technical or vocation.
1-3 years of job related experience.
Organizational skills
Detail-oriented and ability to follow established procedures
Ability to multi-task in a high-volume, fast-paced atmosphere
Ability to be flexible in a changing environment
Ability to work with constant interruptions
Ability to communicate with a diverse student population
Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently
Problem solving skills
Ability to alternate between sitting, standing, and walking
Basic customer service skills
Basic proficiency with office technology

Primary Duties:
Administer tests on a daily basis including, placement, online learning, course make-up, tests from other colleges and organizations, as as CLEP, Kryterion, and DSST exams.
Serve as a guide and resource to all PTU 20 proctors.
Coordinate all aspects of TEAS test day preparation and administration.
Proctor testing room.
Perform administrative support duties.
