We are seeking a Construction Pricing Specialist. This position will be responsible for labor pricing, compiling materials, bidding for subcontracts, and more. The employee will handle a variety of projects, differing in size, but will manage them all with detailed vendor communication and hard work.

Responsibilities:

• Support executive sales representatives on any assistance needed, including bidding on new projects
• Communicate interpersonally with project managers while providing attentive customer service to vendors
• Track the availability of resources and become familiar with all products and their specifications
• Communicate with customers to clarify all pricing for project materials
• Compute spread rates, adjusting markups, and unit prices while providing cost clarifications and breakouts to customers
• Contact vendors regarding pricing of materials, special variables, and labor

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience required
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Windows XP, and Windows 7
• Familiar with construction or similar industries
• Detail oriented and high communicative
• Strong aptitude for numbers
