General Description

Under general supervision, supports Facilities Supervisors and Property Managers with cleaning and preparing residential and commercial properties through general maintenance and repairs. Performs as a skilled trades helper.

Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.

· Responsible for completion of all maintenance service requests as assigned for specific property.

· Perform tasks associated with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, and painting.

· Assist Property Manager with repairs and maintenance on items such as showers, sinks, appliances, doors, cabinets, walls and building exteriors.

· May assist with maintenance and repair on commercial and industrial equipment.

· Assist with maintenance of grounds such as trash pick-up, sweep sidewalks and landscaping.

· May operate trucks, plows, and salters during Winter months.

· May operate mowers, string trimmers, etc. during Spring through Fall.

· Make ready units for new move‐ins, both commercial and residential.

· Provides maintenance and upkeep to company vehicles and grounds equipment. Washes equipment regularly.

· Assure safety practices are used which comply with all company, local, city, state, and federal guidelines.

· Follow Buckingham policies and procedures and comply with Fair Housing, state, and federal laws.

· Special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

· 2 years experience in general property maintenance.

· High School Diploma or GED.

· OSHA 10 hour course a plus. (Required after hire)

· Valid and clean driver’s license to be able to get to necessary job locations.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
