Buckeye Home Medical Equipment is Hiring an Office Manager Near Shelbyville, TN

JOB POSTING

Office Manager (No phone calls please)

Buckeye Home Medical is a Durable Medical Equipment Company seeking an energetic professional who doesn’t mind wearing multiple hats. Must be able to work independently with little or no supervision. This role is responsible for streamlining administrative procedures, warehouse inventory control, office staff supervision and task delegation. Must be organized, flexible and enjoy the administrative challenge of supporting an office of diverse people. Applicants must be able to work 40 hours a week and as needed after hours. Must be able to pass background check and drug screen.

The ideal candidate for this position should demonstrate leadership and time management skills. Must be proficient in staff development and team building with excellent communication skills and capable of multi-tasking and prioritizing in a fast-paced environment.

  • Accurately maintains petty cash, responsible for reconciling cash report weekly and keeps adequate stock of office supplies
  • Processes timesheets and prepares weekly reports

  • Understands and provides accurate and reliable information regarding the requirements for medical equipment

  • Responsible for reviewing all monthly billing reports

Minimum Job Qualifications:

  • High school graduate is required (experience in health care is preferred but not required)
  • Supervisory/Management experience – 3 years is required
  • Must demonstrate leadership skills and be able to interact well with other employees
  • Excellent communication skills and active listening skills are a must in order to provide excellent customer service to our patients and staff
  • Data Entry and computer skills are important for entering the correct data into the computer
  • Be kind, empathetic, must be a self-starter, be able to follow directions, be organized, communicate clearly and detailed oriented.
