Buck Mason is looking for a freelance Sr. Women's Wovens Designer with a strong concept and design background. The ideal candidate is a driven creative and obsessed with product quality.

Responsibilities

• Seasonal concept and design for Women's wovens collection
• Create all women’s woven sketches, details, and technical packages for seasonal designs
• Conduct product, color, fit, and fabric research for seasonal concepts pertaining to woven's
• Create flat digital sketches for presentation boards and tech packs
• Conduct fittings with tech design and updates styles and tech packs
• Update BOMs with all pertinent fabric and trim info
• Approves fabric samples, lab dips, strike-off's and other development material
• Reports to Design Director

• 7 years applicable women’s woven experience 
• Must have a two-year AAS or College degree
• High taste level
• Strong knowledge of the Women’s wear market and Designers
• In-depth knowledge of vintage, military, and workwear styling
• Must have excellent working knowledge of Adobe Suite and Excel
• Must be a team player, have ability to manage multiple projects with strict deadlines and take initiative
• Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize workload 
• Highly motivated and hardworking
• Clear communicator w/ emotional intelligence
• Must be detail oriented individual and a strong self-starter
• Strong knowledge of garment construction and wash processing
