Buck Knives creates purpose drive knives that perform for generations.We are looking for a Quality Inspector to join our team to assure we make and uphold the forever warranty of our legendary products.SummaryTo perform Final Inspection of completed product and dimensional inspection of parts to promote company success.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • The essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
    • Perform Final inspection of products
    • Perform dimensional and cosmetic inspection of Supplier parts
    • Perform dimensional and cosmetic inspection of Internal parts
    • Research and disposition of MRB parts/products
    • Review and disposition of Rework or other parts
    • Assist in data collection, testing or other departmental tasks
    • Accurately fill out all forms, logs and other Quality paperwork as required.
    • Assist as back up for Auditing and testing tasks as needed.

QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong leadership skills/experience. Lean manufacturing knowledge is ideal.
Language SkillsAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Strong communication skills.
Mathematical SkillsAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITYAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
