Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team. As a Dispatcher, you will play a integral role in communicating customer's needs to our delivery drivers to streamline delivery . Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the efficient and timely delivery of services to our customers. The ideal candidate will have experience in data entry, communication, and transportation management.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and process customer orders for water delivery
- Coordinate with drivers and logistics personnel to schedule deliveries
- Monitor and track deliveries using transportation management systems
- Communicate with customers to provide updates on delivery status
- Utilize GIS (Geographic Information System) technology to optimize routes and minimize delivery times
- Enter data accurately into scheduling software
- Work Saturdays occasionally
Experience:
- Previous experience in a dispatching or logistics role preferred
- Proficient in data entry and typing skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Familiarity with transportation management systems
- Strong analytical skills to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
