Responsibilities :

• Manage accounts payable using multiple accounting softwares and other programs
• Process transactions and perform accounting duties such as account maintenance and recording entries
• Ensure bills are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures
• Resolve vendor inquiries in a timely manner and effectively communicate issues and concerns in a timely manner
• Create payment schedules, process schedules into physical checks, ACH and wire payments
• Balance the checks, wire and ACH payment registers and check for errors
• Perform 2- and 3-way matches during invoice processing
• Reconcile receiving quantity and price related discrepancies with vendors and purchasing departments
• Collect, reconcile and code company credit card transactions
• Maintain and organize files

Basic Qualifications :

• 2 years of experience in accounts payable
• Experience in the aerospace industry preferred
• Detail orientated and work in the fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software applications
