Summary:

This position will be an integral member of a dynamic team tasked with developing and managing the ERP system schedule for a high paced manufacturing machine shop.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plans and prepares production schedules for the manufacture of products including preparation of the master schedule to establish a sequence and lead time for each operation meeting customer required dates
• Track and update progress of manufacturing operations including updating the scheduling software with progress, changes, and other pertinent data
• Responsible for transferring manufacturing plans into ERP system and manufacturing scheduling software
• Reviews and releases production jobs to ensure accuracy and efficiency within the ERP system
• Will collaborate with the Business Development Team to provide available capacity for potential new orders, identify resource capacity conflicts, and to maintain OTD rate of 95% or higher
• Communicate systematic problems, sudden spikes, or other abnormal volume to operations staff as a proactive measure to allow time for necessary adjustments
• Log and address recurring issues and determine appropriate resolution as a continuous improvement initiative

Requirements:

High School Diploma required

3 years of Epicor Scheduling/Planning experience

Previous work experience with Epicor or similar MRP/ERP software is preferred

• PC skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook & Project)
