• Prepares a complete financial statement monthly according to dealership guidelines and the manufacturer's format and time frame.
• Interprets and analyzes the financial statement continually.
• Keeps the General Manager and dealer informed about trends and the cash needs of the business.
• Develops and maintains an effective cash management system.
• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; with a focus in accounting or finance preferred, or three to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least five years of experience in accounting at an automobile dealership required.
• High knowledge of excel and must be proficient with pivot tables, vlookups, sumifs, and other complex formulas.
• Experience in closing month end according to GAAP accounting guidelines.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment while juggling multiple tasks.
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve independently.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work in a very busy, high-pressure, team setting.
• Strong collaboration skills - can work well with navigating various stakeholders and teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $160,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
