Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee the estimating process and team, delegating and assigning projects accordingly.
• Prepare detailed estimates and bids for construction projects.
• Ensure timely submission of bids, reviewing pending bids regularly.
• Organize and lead estimating meetings to review bid opportunities and statuses.
• Act as a sales contact for select customers and clients.
• Enhance tracking systems for proposal follow-ups, win ratios, and performance analysis.
• Conduct site visits, bid walks, and attend pre-bid conferences as necessary.
• Obtain pricing from vendors and subcontractors for materials, equipment, and services.
• Coordinate between Estimators and Project Managers during transition meetings.
• Direct and oversee all operations of the estimating proposal writing function.
• Communicate with clients and government representatives regarding proposed work.
• Collaborate with Corporate Manager on profitability considerations.
• Improve bidding efficiency in terms of profitability and success rates.
• Provide technical input for updating and editing the estimating database.
• Develop policies and procedures related to the bidding process.
• Prepare written correspondence and technical reports as needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of three years of estimating experience in construction, environmental, or related industries.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work efficiently.
• Capable of generating project estimates ranging from $25,000 to $5,000,000.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly advanced knowledge of Excel.
• Familiarity with Cost Estimating Software is preferred.
• Ability to interpret plans and project documents.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
