ABOUT BRUTE'S ROOTS

• Brute's Roots, recently voted 'Dispensary of the Year,' is New Jersey's home for the most affordable recreational and medical cannabis. Founded by South Jersey locals, the company is continuing to grow, and, given that, is looking for more people to join its team!

LOCATION

• Brute’s Roots' dispensary is approx. 1.5 miles from the AC Expressway and approx. 3.2 miles away from The Garden State Parkway. Being situated directly on the Black Horse Pike allows walking access to both East and West bus stops for NJ Transit. Both of these bus stops are approx. 350 feet from our dispensary.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in cannabis preferred.
• Must be 21 or older, per state regulations.
• Must be able to pass a state-mandated background check.
• At least 1-2 years of experience working as a Sales Associate, Budtender, or similar role in the cannabis industry preferred.
• Knowledge of cannabis strains, edibles, and other products, as well as consumption methods and safe usage practices.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Strong computer skills, and experience using a POS system.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Serve as the initial point of contact for customers, ensuring a welcoming and positive experience throughout their visit.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, offering product guidance, and assisting in product selection.
• Cultivate relationships with customers to foster trust and loyalty to the brand.
• Operate the point-of-sale system accurately and efficiently, adhering to both company policies and state regulations.
• Ensure compliance with all legal requirements related to cannabis sales and maintain a strong understanding of current laws and regulations.
• Package customer orders accurately and in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor environment.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure a cohesive and positive work environment.
• Communicate any customer feedback, issues, or concerns to management in a timely manner.
• Support colleagues as needed to ensure smooth and efficient store operations.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
