Brunson Instrument Company is Hiring an Assembly Technician I Near Kansas, MO

Overview

Brunson Instrument Company is an industry leader with 90 years of experience in the development and creation of industrial alignment and measurement products. Brunson provides manufacturing and engineering solutions to measurement problems faced by people who build, inspect or maintain large machines – including aircraft, paper mills, satellites, ships, machine tools, particle accelerators and automobiles.

This well-established organization is currently seeking an Assembly Technician I who will be responsible for assembly of products according to established specifications and instructions. Their function is to ensure that all parts and products under their care are in proper working order, which will meet the quality standards of the company.

Responsibilities

  • Proficiency reading prints, drawings, and other instructions on how assembly is to be procedure
  • Understands non-conform procedure
  • Knowledge of build of material assemblies
  • Ability to test complex assemblies for proper function
  • Can apply epoxies, touch up paints, and other minor chemical process needed for assembly
  • Generate a certificate of compliance
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues with root cause analysis

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or its equivalent and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area
  • Attention to detail
  • Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
  • Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to preform the functions of the job
