(also known as Concrete Pumping Holdings – the holding company NASDAQ: BBCP) has an immediate opening for a full-time Senior Accountant who can grow with the growth of the company. in the future. Based in our corporate office in Thornton, CO. Reporting to the Controller, and responsible for assisting month-end close, process improvements and other recommendations under the direction of the Controller.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The incumbent selected for this position is eligible for a base salary range of $80K - $90K (depending on experience) plus a discretionary bonus. We are pleased to offer a comprehensive benefits program to our valued employees and your family members.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual general ledger account reconciliations including prepaid, intangibles, accruals
• Fixed asset management and reconciliations
• Assist the accounting team in managing the monthly/quarterly/yearly accounting close process including journal entry and account reconciliations to ensure complete, accurate and timely financial reporting
• Lease accounting journal entries and reconciliations according to ASC 842
• Work with AP, Payroll, and other departments/branches as needed to resolve any issues
• Assist in successful audits with internal and external auditors
• Ensure we are in compliant with SOX, and all accounting policies and procedures
• Performing and assisting with special projects as assigned by the controller and accounting manager

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Required)
• CPA or CFA candidate preferred but not required
• Minimum of 5 years of experience
• US GAAP knowledge
• ERP system knowledge, SAGE preferred but not required
• Advanced excel skills
• Attention to Detail
• Desire to evolve and grow as organization evolves
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including customer service/relationship management
• Excellent organizational skills, high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Confident working independently as well as with the team

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Works in an indoor office relatively free from environmental conditions or hazards
• Use of office equipment and computers
• Occasional lifting of supplies and materials (up to 20 lbs.)
