Office Assistant/ Inventory Control Specialist

Concrete Pumping Holdings, Inc (Public Company: BBCP, “CPH”) is searching for an Office Assistant/ Inventory Control Specialist ,this is a great in office opportunity!

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Take customer credit card information and process credit card payments 
  • Confirm with vendors that purchase orders have been received
  • Print out e-mailed invoices from vendors, match with Purchase Order and stamp for approval
  • Help with midyear and year-end inventory
  • Help with shipping and receiving when needed. May process incoming and outgoing mail and UPS.
  • Maintain filing system. Maintain and update customer and supplier files.
  • Help with parts requisitions and orders.
  • Receive and process invoices and requisitions for goods and services within time guidelines established by management.
  • Answer and route inbound calls from branches and customers.
  • May receive and process invoices and requisitions for goods and services within time guidelines established by management.
  • Collection on past due accounts.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • 1-2 years of inventory experience a plus.
  • Familiar with manufacturing and construction office environment.
  • Experience with certified payroll reporting of prevailing wages is preferred.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel skills; Microsoft Office 2007 preferred.
  • Experience with SAGE preferred.
  • 10-key competency required.
  • Ability to use a fax machine, scanner, copier, and other general office equipment.
  • Experience with vendors.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent relationship management skills.
  • Outstanding phone etiquette.
  • Highly organized with the ability to follow through in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to prioritize among competing requirements.
  • Always maintain confidentiality of information.
  • Dependable, punctual, mature and accountable.

EDUCATION

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Works in an indoor office with long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers. Occasional lifting of supplies and materials from time to time.
