ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Assist in Accurately administering the entire payroll process for over 1400 employees in compliance with federal / state regulations and company policy
• Assist in Maintaining and processing voluntary and involuntary deductions, such as benefits, retirement, garnishments, levies, taxes, etc.
• Assist with updating 401k enrollments / contribution changes, processing loan requests, uploads of payroll files to Nationwide.
• Performs various payroll-related journal entries, account reconciliations, and provides general ledger support

Assist in updating annual / quarter tax rates and workers’ comp rates in UKG.

• Assist is completing employment verifications, garnishment verifications
• Assist with monitoring the employee A / R accounts regarding payroll items.
• Recommend and assist in developing and implementing new and / or revised policies and procedures to ensure efficient processing of payroll and maximize utilization of HRIS

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education / Work Experience :

• Minimum of five years relevant payroll experience
• Associate / Bachelor degree in Accounting, Business or related field from an accredited institution
