Brubacher Excavating, Inc. is seeking a Senior Estimator to generate high quality, detailed, and accurate proposals in an effective and efficient manner for profitable project awards. The ability to build strong, high-trust relationships, visiting job sites and working proactively to create connections with team members, subcontractors, and industry partners, is essential to the role. The successful Senior Estimator candidate will work collaboratively as part of the estimating team to achieve results and ensure awarded projects consistently perform at or below budget. The ability to support and provide mentorship to team members to advance collective skills is critical to successful operations and the Brubacher culture. As an integral part of living out our mission to shape the world we live in, the Senior Estimator will help clients eliminate stress, reduce risk, avoid unwanted surprises, and achieve project success. The Senior Estimator will report to the Director of Estimating & Project Management, and has no direct reports.

Senior Estimator position qualifications:

• A minimum of 7 years of successful experience in an estimating role in the excavation, construction, or related industry
• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or construction management, a plus; equivalent experience required
• A successful track record of providing support and mentorship to team members, preferred
• Proficiency with technology including Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, and related industry/estimating software
• Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal
• Demonstrated community involvement, desired
