Job Summary

The Supplement Specialist will be responsible for handling all aspects of supplement claims related to roofing projects. This includes preparing, submitting, and managing supplement claims with insurance companies to ensure proper reimbursement for additional work performed. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of roofing processes, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate with insurance adjusters and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Review initial insurance claims to identify any missing or incomplete information.
• Conduct thorough inspections of roofing projects to identify necessary supplements.
• Prepare detailed supplement claims with accurate cost estimates and documentation.
• Submit supplement claims to insurance companies and follow up to ensure timely processing.
• Communicate effectively with insurance adjusters to negotiate and resolve supplement claims.
• Maintain detailed records of all supplement claims, correspondence, and outcomes.
• Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and other team members to ensure accurate and complete supplement submissions.
• Stay updated on industry standards, insurance policies, and best practices related to supplement claims.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in supplement claims, insurance adjusting, or a related field within the roofing or construction industry.
• Strong understanding of roofing processes, materials, and terminology.
• Proficient in using estimating software (e.g., Xactimate, Symbility)
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
