BROWNCOUNTY holdings LLC is Hiring a Bookkeeper Near Bloomington, IN

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and performing various accounting tasks. The ideal candidate has experience with QuickBooks and other accounting software, as well as a strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping.

Duties:

- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes

- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial transactions

- Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payments

- Maintain general ledger and perform balance sheet reconciliations

- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures

- Generate financial reports and assist with budgeting processes

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial information

- Assist with payroll processing and related tasks

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role

- Proficient in knowledge for state sales taxes in multiple states

- Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software

- Strong knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping principles

- Knowledgable in bookkeeping for small buisnesses, rental properties, and payroll

- Familiarity with bank reconciliation processes

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks

- Knowledge of Sage, Quicken, or other accounting software is a plus

- Previous experience in corporate accounting or as an accounting clerk is preferred
